United Firefighting Training Network would like to thank many people for the following service:
Few sets of PPE and other firefighting equipment were hand-delivered to Kerrville, Texas at their Emergency Operations Center.
Part of this donation was possible by Britt Gordon @ Blue Ridge Fire and Rescue (Hendersonville, NC) and Stephanie and Tyler with Rebuilding Hollers.
It’s is importantly to acknowledge that some gear and tools were donated to firefighters from Mexico who went to help in Texas disaster.
Juan Hernandez, your willingness to drive all the way to Texas and deliver this donation is an invaluable contribution.
UFTNC may not have a lot, but what we have is shared with love.
Brothers and sisters in Kerrville, Texas…we pray for y’all and here we are to help and support to the extent of our possibilities.

6/5/25 Tragic Loss: Hickory Firefighter Dies in Line of Duty

Early this morning, the Hickory Fire Department faced a heartbreaking tragedy as a firefighter was lost while on duty. While details remain scarce, reports suggest that the firefighter may have suffered a medical emergency. The identity of the fallen hero has not yet been released. The department and community mourn this profound loss, with more information expected to be shared later today.

I cannot go to bed tonight without telling y’all that we have an Amazing Leader at NC OSFM. Chief Bryan Taylor, your humanitarian service crosses frontiers and enhances the Fire Service worldwide.
Today, United Firefighting TNC received an outstanding donation of no longer needed fire equipment—-PPE, SCBA’s, LD hose lines and many more items.
Our brothers and sisters of Asociación de Instituciones de Bomberos Voluntarios del Paraguay (over 30 FD’s) will be benefited with much needed equipment.
God bless you and thank you again for giving a real testament of International Firefighting Brotherhood.

Yesterday was a great day as we received our brothers Andrés Fernández Aquino, Luis Leonardo Ramirez, Richard Emilio López Abdala and Oscar Crota.
United Firefighting TNC’s mission is simply: To provide free training, free education and free equipment to individuals and organizations that need them the most.
This organization started because 3 firefighters died because of lack of training and adequate equipment. We aim to close the gap of these areas.
We thank all and every organization that has been involved with this project.
Ayer fue un día de reencuentro, planeacion para el posible viajea Paraguay, visitas a las bodegas de almacenamiento de donaciones y un poco de actividad social.

Few months ago, while I was collecting donations for United Firefighting TNC’s mission,
I met Bradley Fulk. He asked me what I was doing and I explained the purpose of our organization. At that time, Capt. Fulk, with Indian Land Fire District, promised to help our brothers and sisters in need.
Today, he delivered an amazing amount of equipment. Among others:
7 hardware bags, 13 rope bags in different lengths, fans, 10 rescue harnesses, few sets of structural PPE, hose lines, tarps, helmets, flashlights, a lot of carabiners and rescue hardware, and a big lot of hand tools.

This morning, like in past years, Jeepers United partnership with City of Concord NC Fire Department to deliver smiles, hope and toys to some special kids.
Today, was a special day because we were escorted by some of the finest MPO’s within Concord Police Department: David Holmes, Martin Barnhardt and Torell McCain.
There were many people to mention all, but, Big Thanks to Engine 2, Engine 9, Rescue 3, Ladder 7, Battalion 2, Fire 9 and Fire 1.5
Special kudos to Nurses, Doctors and personnel from Atrium Health.
Merry Christmas to y’all.

This end of the year post is to give Thanks to multiple fire departments around my area.
United Firefighting TNC through its pairs in South America, the Asociación de Bomberos Voluntarios del Paraguay hand delivered most needed firefighter equipment.
There were more than 20 departments that were benefited from donations sent few months ago.
The benefactors departments from North Carolina are:
