Some of the strongest believers in play are teachers who were skeptical at first. But once they see what happens when students feel seen, included, and connected at recess, they start to notice a difference back in the classroom: fewer conflicts means quicker transitions and more time for learning.

Join us on May 5th for a "tee-rific" time for a good cause. Playworks is hosting our first golf outing at the beautiful Eagle Creek Golf Course. Whether you’re a scratch golfer or just here for the mulligans, it’s going to be a day of great swings and even better impact.

We love to see students taking ownership of their playground! Students at IPS Ernie Pyle School 90 recently learned the game 'Switch' and can now run it on their own. Students are giving high fives, using rock paper scissors to solve simple conflicts and inviting those on the sidelines to join in. Way to go Panthers!

Through this partnership, Playworks is bringing safe and healthy play to nearly 300 students grades Pk-5.

We had a great time supporting the Beyond Monumental Kids 5k on Saturday. Big thanks to Apex Benefits for including us again this year. We always enjoy leading students (nearly 1,300 of them!) in their warmup and seeing so many familiar faces from Indianapolis Public Schools Washington Township Schools Perry Township Schools and MSD of Pike Township This year, we even got to meet the brand new Beyond Monumental mascot, Torchy.
