⛳️ Community Services League hosted its 13th Annual CSL Golf Classic on Monday, June 1, at Drumm Farm Golf Club, and what a fantastic day it was!

We enjoyed a great day on the green with our golfers, sponsors, volunteers, and supporters who came together to make this year's tournament a tremendous success. Congratulations to all of our tournament winners, raffle winners, and Super Raffle winners!

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, the 13th Annual CSL Golf Classic raised a record-breaking $44,800 to support Community Services League's mission and help provide critical resources and wraparound services to neighbors throughout Eastern Jackson County.

– Community Services League success stories

Edith Tovar has been a part of the Family Stability Program since August of last year, and her journey is a powerful reflection of resilience and determination.

Despite life’s ups and downs, Edith has remained committed to creating stability for her family. As a stay-at-home mom, she has thoughtfully explored ways to contribute financially while still being present for her baby. On weekends, Edith prepares and sells food—an idea she developed through conversations with her coach about balancing income and family needs.

Edith continues to take full advantage of opportunities to grow and stay connected. She regularly participates in CSL’s Hispanic Food Box program and recently completed a Computer Class at BlendWell Communidad, building new skills for her future.

In March Edith and her family attended the Easter Egg Hunt event hosted at BlendWell, where her children also received support from The Love Fund. Each of her three children was given funds to shop for clothes and shoes at Walmart—bringing both relief and joy to the family.

Edith’s story is one of persistence, creativity, and love for her children. We are proud to walk alongside her as she continues building a strong and stable future.

Community Services League Workforce Development is helping connect neighbors to opportunities in Healthcare Administration and Certified Medical Assistant training starting in late summer/early fall. These classes are designed to help participants build skills, gain confidence, and prepare for in-demand careers in the healthcare field.
