Who Runs the World?
Girls!!
Royal Trio Battle of the Sexes β€” Official Event Recap

Okay, let's be honest β€” did anyone really think this was going to go any other way? On Sunday, April 12, 2026, Forum Bowl came alive, and by the time the final ball rolled down the lane, the women had done it again. Crowns intact. Hair still laid. Not a single apology.
The Royal Trio Battle of the Sexes Fundraiser β€”turned out to be exactly the kind of Sunday afternoon we all needed. Good people. Great bowling. Loud cheering. And enough friendly trash talk to fill a whole second tournament.

The men came ready. The women were ready and better. And every single person in that building came with love for Corey and for this TNBA family.

You could feel it β€” that energy that only happens when your bowling family is all in the same room at the same time, laughing too loud, talking even louder, and quietly sizing up the competition from across the lanes. It was everything. It was us!
The Results Are In β€” And They Do Not Lie

FINAL ROUND β€” THE SHOWDOWN

Ellison / Lee / Parker β€” 613
defeated
Barnes / Woodyard / Young β€” 559

Overall Royal Trio Winners received an additional $225.00

Traci Ellison, Danielle Lee, and Wanda Parker did not just win β€” they dominated with a combined 2089 pins in the standings and a 613 in the final round that sealed the deal and left absolutely no room for debate. And let's be clear: Wanda Parker was not just along for the ride. She was a driving force on that team all day long, and her individual performance proved it. Ladies, your trophies are well earned and your bragging rights are fully certified!

Women's Champions β€” Wanda Parker, Traci Ellison & Danielle Lee
On the men's side, Woody Woodyard, Charles Young, and George Barnes came out swinging with 1982 pins and the men's division title β€” and let it be noted that 1982 vs. 1981 between first and second place means Michael Patrick, Talmadge Welch, and Cameron Wilson were right there breathing down their necks the entire time. One pin. ONE. Now that is bowling, people. All three placing teams bowled their hearts out and represented with full pride from start to finish.

Shoutout to the High Scorers
The competition brought out some serious game from our individual bowlers, and these scores deserve to be celebrated out loud!

Women Category Men
Starr Washington β€” 255 High Scratch Game Anthony Partida β€” 288
Wanda Parker β€” 679 High Scratch Series Anthony Partida β€” 749
Starr Washington β€” 280 High Handicap Game Anthony Partida β€” 289
Starr Washington β€” 748 High Handicap Series Anthony Partida β€” 752

Anthony Partida was absolutely on fire for the men β€” sweeping all four individual honors with a scratch series of 749 and a handicap series of 752. That kind of performance on a competition day demands a standing ovation. Anthony, you were locked in and it showed!
On the women's side, we have to give it up to two ladies who were simply not playing around. Wanda Parker β€” who already helped her team claim the women's division title β€” turned right around and posted a tournament-high scratch series of 679. Let that sink in. Champion and high series on the same day. Wanda, you had a day for the books and you earned every bit of that recognition!
And Starr Washington? She swept the remaining women's individual honors β€” high scratch game (255), high handicap game (280), and high handicap series (748). Three out of four categories is not a coincidence, that is consistency. Starr showed up and made her presence known all the way down the scoresheets!

This Is What TNBA Is All About
Here is the thing about this community β€” we do not just show up to bowl. We show up for each other. And Sunday was living proof of that. Every team that registered, every person who jumped into a side pot, grabbed a raffle ticket, or entered a bracket was doing something bigger than bowling. They were saying, "Corey, we got you."
And that means everything. Corey Williams is not just running for TNBA King because of a title β€” he is running because he loves this organization, this culture, and the people in it. Watching the community pour that love right back into him on Sunday was one of those moments that reminds you why we do all of this in the first place.

The TNBA family came together in a big way at Forum Bowl

TNBA is a family. Not the kind you are stuck with β€” the kind you choose. And on Sunday, we chose to show up together.

A Mountain of Thank-Yous
Where do we even start? To every bowler who laced up and competed β€” thank you. To every supporter who came to cheer, hype, and occasionally heckle (you know who you are) β€” thank you. To every person who dug into their pocket for raffles, brackets, and side pots β€” seriously, thank you. Your generosity went directly to Corey's campaign and will not be forgotten.
A very special shoutout to Dennis "Mailman" Baptiste, who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to help make this event possible. Mailman, you delivered β€” as always! And to the amazing staff and management at Forum Bowl for being such wonderful hosts and giving us a home for this event, we are so grateful. Forum Bowl, you are always family.
To every sponsor, every volunteer, every person who spread the word and told a friend β€” you are the reason this community is as strong as it is. Never underestimate the power of just showing up.

The Road Ahead for King Corey
Sunday was a win β€” for Corey, for the campaign, and for all of us. But the journey is not over. It is just getting started. As we move through the 2026 TNBA season, we carry Sunday's spirit with us β€” the joy, the competition, the community, and yes, the very loud bragging rights (you know who you are, ladies).
Corey, we are riding with you. Every frame, every tournament, every step of this campaign β€” you have an entire family in your corner. Now go get that crown.
