Explorers learn about many possible careers they can pursue through handson activities.

Exploring supports many career development programs for youth in Tarrant County, Texas, and surrounding counties. We help organizations put together and run an Exploring program that connects boys and girls from 10-20 years old with real world professionals that teach them what their job is like through hands on activities. Clubs are now available to youth 10 to 14 years of age (6th, 7th and 8Th grade) , and Posts are for 15 to 20 year old participants (9th grade up and not yet 21). There are 12 fields of Exploring:
Arts and Humanities
Aviation
Business
Communications
Engineering and Technology
Fire/Emergency Service
Health Care
Law Enforcement
Law, Governance and Military
Science
Skilled Trades
Social Services and Education

If you or your child is interested in exploring their career interests, please give us a call and we'll gladly connect you with one of our Explorer Posts or Clubs.

Attention all Exploring Leaders!! Please read and follow up on your training status.

Here’s some clarity on the Safeguarding Youth Training:

🎓 Old YPT (no 90-minute course completed)?
➡️ Full 90-minute course required

⏰ 90-minute course expired more than 6 days ago?
➡️ Full 90-minute course required

🔄 90-minute course expired 6 days or less OR still active?
➡️ Refresher course assigned

📧 Renewal emails will direct participants to “My Training”, where they can select “Take Course” or “Retake Course”. The system will automatically guide them to the correct training based on their status.

⚠️ Important note - Anyone who has completed only the refresher without ever completing the full 90-minute course will still need to complete the full course. Clearing the browser cache may be necessary to ensure the “Retake Course” button routes correctly.
