π Happy World Down Syndrome Day π
Today is World Down Syndrome Day (3/21), and weβre excited to celebrate while continuing to spotlight the incredible individuals who make our communities stronger, brighter, and more connected every day.
If you don't know, Down syndrome is a genetic condition that occurs when someone is born with a third copy of chromosome 21. About 1 in 700 babies in the United States are born with Down syndrome. This extra chromosome is just one part of who they are and individuals with Down syndrome have unique talents, personalities, and so much to offer the world. ππ
Todayβs featured friends:
β Eli β He loves dancing, singing, and spending time with his family, especially his big brother!

Letβs continue spreading awareness, showing support, and celebrating...not just today, but every day!
π And donβt forget that tomorrow, Sunday (3/22), weβll continue the celebration with a FREE community event! π
