Trail Closure Notice: To prepare for Fort Worth's Fourth, portions of the Trinity Trails near Panther Island Pavilion will be temporarily closed beginning Friday, July 3, at 10:00 PM through Sunday, July 5, at 8:00 AM.

If you're planning to walk, run, or bike through the area, please allow extra time and follow posted detour signs. We appreciate your patience as we prepare for one of Fort Worth's favorite traditions. We look forward to celebrating with you on July 4!

🇺🇸 Join your Oakhurst neighbors for one of our favorite community traditions!

Decorate your bikes, wagons, scooters—or yourselves—and come celebrate Independence Day with friends, family, and neighbors.

📍 Oakhurst Park
🗓 Saturday, July 4
🕙 10:00 a.m.

The parade will be followed by a community picnic. ONA will provide hot dogs and drinks—just bring your favorite side dish or dessert to share!

We hope to see families of all ages there. Invite your neighbors and help us make this another memorable Oakhurst tradition! ❤️🤍💙

Come join the Oakhurst Family & Friends Parade, then stay for a brief presentation honoring our country, followed by a community picnic. It’s a wonderful way to celebrate America’s birthday with your neighbors, family, and friends!

What’s your favorite thing about Oakhurst after a good rain? 🌈🌸

For us, it’s hard to beat a double rainbow stretching across the neighborhood and the surprise appearance of delicate rain lilies. These photos were taken around Oakhurst last weekend after the storms rolled through.
