WV FBLA is heading to The Greenbrier this fall.

Our Fall Conference will take place October 29-30 at West Virginia’s premier five-star resort, bringing together members from across the state for two days of engaging workshops and nationally recognized speakers in one of the most iconic settings in the country.

WV FBLA was well represented at the ACTE Conference at Marshall University this week! State Vice President Kylie Marlow and State Parliamentarian Kairi Thornburg spoke to educators about the value of FBLA and the impact we have on our members. We’re hoping to see many new chapters registered with us this membership year.

We also had the chance to meet several other exhibitors, including national FBLA partner College Board and fellow CTSO’s West Virginia FFA Association and SkillsUSA West Virginia. Thank you to the ACTE for having us and giving us the opportunity to connect with these fantastic innovators!

Champion Chapter opens today! This program provides members with a guide for a smooth year and recognizes participating chapters on the national level with three levels of awards: Bronze, Silver, and Gold. Let’s make 2026-2027 our year to paint West Virginia gold!

Challenge to our members! Several counties that have FBLA Chapters were hit hard by recent flooding. I will be dropping off items later today in Upshur County and challenge members and advisers to donate materials or financially, if possible. I am always amazed at how our members step up to help others when there is a need. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all areas affected—Denise Losh, WV State Advisor

Many communities across the state were affected by the recent storm that caused major flooding in various counties. If you are able, please support those in need. If you do not see a drop off location near you, look for local drop off locations within your community.

WV FBLA NLC RECAP!

National Leadership Conference in San Antonio, Texas was a huge success.

We had 4 groups make it to finals (Lorelei Costlow, Jenna Stalnaker, London Donahoe & Maekaylee Criss, Luke Haught & Ryan Haught and 2 groups place nationally.

Congratulations to Jenna Stalnaker (placed 10th in Digital Animation) and London Donahoe and Maekaylee Criss (placed 9th in Local Chapter Annual Business Report).

Jenna Lindsey was awarded The Who’s Who Award.

Several chapters were awarded Bronze, Sliver and Gold champion chapters.

President London Donahoe and former President Jenna Lindsey represented West Virginia on the national stage and at the regional meeting.

All of our members attended workshops, meetings, and networking sessions throughout the conference.

During the time in San Antonio also our members got the chance to explore the city, visit the Alamo, attend a rodeo, and so much more!
