Her vision problems started when she was only 5. For years, her family watched things get worse — with little access to the specialists who could tell them why.
Now they have an answer: a brain tumor. And with it, an urgent need for surgery her family cannot afford on their own.

Brain Tumor Awareness Month is a reminder that survival shouldn’t depend on where you’re born.

In much of sub-Saharan Africa, access to MRI scans, neurosurgery, and radiation is limited or nonexistent. Too many patients are diagnosed late or not at all and left without real treatment options.

This isn’t just about disease. It’s about equity.

Everyone deserves access to life saving care. This month, support efforts that expand access, invest in local healthcare systems, and bring real change to underserved communities.

Awareness matters but action changes lives.
