Meet the honorees! As part of Reunion Weekend, we celebrate alumni who embody Kinkaid’s mission to lead, serve, and become contributing citizens to Kinkaid, our country, and the global community.

The Distinguished Alumni Award honors an alumnus/a in their 25th Reunion Year or later who has provided extraordinary service to the community or achieved outstanding personal or professional success. The 2026 Distinguished Alumnus is Dr. Sameer Sheth ’94, a nationally recognized neurosurgeon and researcher at Baylor College of Medicine whose groundbreaking work advances treatments for epilepsy and neurological disorders. With more than 300 scientific publications and the highest NIH funding in neurosurgery nationwide in 2025, Dr. Sheth credits Kinkaid for laying the foundation for his success.

The Kinkaid community is invited to the Distinguished Alumni Awards Program on Friday, April 10 at 6:30 pm in the Ogilvie Lobby of the Katz Performing Arts Center on campus. Link in bio to RSVP.

Meet the honorees! As part of Reunion Weekend, we celebrate alumni who are a strong representation of Kinkaid’s mission to lead, serve, and become contributing citizens to Kinkaid, our country, and the global community.

The Distinguished Young Alumni Award honors a young alumnus/a in their 25th Reunion Year or earlier who has demonstrated significant career achievement in their chosen field and strong promise for future success. The 2026 Distinguished Young Alumna is Ryan Beiermeister ’08.

Ryan Beiermeister ’08 has built an extraordinary career at the intersection of technology, policy, and social impact. A standout debater at Kinkaid, she went on to become one of the nation’s top collegiate policy debaters at Northwestern University before launching a career at leading global technology companies. From her leadership at Palantir Technologies and Meta to her current role as Vice President of Product Policy at OpenAI, Ryan has focused on developing responsible technologies that advance global safety, public health, and equitable access to innovation. Her work continues to shape the future of AI and its impact on communities around the world.

Meet the honorees! As part of Reunion Weekend, we celebrate alumni who are a strong representation of Kinkaid’s mission to lead, serve, and become contributing citizens to Kinkaid, our country, and the global community.

The Distinguished Honorary Alumni Award honors a non-alumnus/a who has been significantly involved with Kinkaid and has made a difference in our community. The 2026 Distinguished Honorary Alumna is Judy Muir.

Judy Muir devoted more than 40 years to Kinkaid, shaping generations of students through her commitment to individualized education and thoughtful preparation for life beyond high school. As Director of the Career Development Program for 32 years, she placed more than 5,000 seniors in internships around the world and helped build a nationally recognized model. She also spent 12 years in the College Office guiding students and families with care and insight. Now an independent educational consultant, Judy continues to support students worldwide and remains deeply grateful for her lifelong connection to Kinkaid.

Meet the honorees! As part of Reunion Weekend, we celebrate alumni who are a strong representation of Kinkaid’s mission to lead, serve, and become contributing citizens to Kinkaid, our country, and the global community.

The Outstanding Service Award is presented to an alumnus/a who has had a longstanding relationship with the School and has demonstrated exceptional commitment and service to Kinkaid’s alumni. The 2026 recipient is Brandt Bowden ‘96.

Brandt has remained a faithful Falcon since entering Kinkaid in ninth grade, exemplifying lifelong dedication through his service as an alumnus, parent, volunteer, and trustee. From joining the Building Committee in 2014 to chairing it since 2019, Brandt has played a pivotal role in the ALL IN Campaign and Kinkaid’s campus transformation, leaving a lasting impact for generations to come.

A generous volunteer and devoted Kinkaid parent of four, Brandt’s connection to the School spans generations. As CEO of The Hanover Company, he brings more than two decades of real estate leadership and expertise, further strengthening Kinkaid’s transformational efforts. Through his leadership, service, and unwavering commitment, Brandt truly embodies the spirit of the Outstanding Service Alumni Award.
