We are pleased to announce that Brittany Horine-Hernandez has joined our team as Vice President of Development!

Brittany has more than a decade of experience in development, having worked at KIPP Public Schools, Kickstart Kids, The Council on Recovery, and most recently, as the Director of Community Giving for the Houston Texans. Brittany will lead our Literacy Legacy Society and program campaign fundraising efforts.

A highly respected business and civic leader, Amy recently retired from Deloitte following a distinguished career spanning more than 30 years. During her tenure, she served in several senior leadership roles, including Managing Partner of Deloitte's Houston practice, Vice Chair, and U.S. Oil, Gas & Chemicals Leader.

An avid reader and passionate advocate for literacy, Amy brings both deep personal commitment and exceptional professional expertise to her service on the Board. She has been a valued supporter of the Foundation’s work for many years, and we are thrilled to welcome her leadership and perspective as we continue advancing our mission.
