The fallout of the failed Maxx Crosby physical this offseason was felt during the past week's Cam Jurgens trade and might just factor into additional NFL trades in the future. As the Ravens and Eagles were preparing to agree to a trade that would send Jurgens and a 2027 seventh-round pick to Baltimore in exchange for a 2027 fifth-round pick and a 2028 second-round pick, the two sides made immediate plans for Jurgens to have a physical in Philadelphia before any deal was finalized, league sources told ESPN. The Ravens sent two of their doctors to the Eagles' training facility Wednesday morning. In a quiet part of the room, without the majority of the Eagles organization even noticing, Ravens doctors put Jurgens -- who still is in the concussion protocol and had back surgery in 2025 -- through the type of physical that Crosby did not pass, sources said.

The Eagles are losing running back Tank Bigsby for a month or more. He will have core muscle surgery after getting injured yesterday according to Ian Rappaport.

Three-time Pro-Bowl tight end Zach Ertz, who played in Philadelphia from 2013-‘21 and helped the team win its first Super Bowl, is returning to the city and signing with the Eagles practice squad, per sources. The Eagles lost TE Dallas Goedert to a sprained MCL and now are turning to Ertz, who spent the past two seasons in Washington.

BREAKING: Delco native who relocated to Tennessee attaches a giant Eagles inflatable on his roof.

Well, there’s no doubt about it, he’s from Delco. The huge giant oversized inflatable proves that. Shout out to this guy who had to move out of Delco for work 8 years ago and still bleeds green for the Eagles.

“I couldn’t believe I found it on Temu and it arrived just in time for today’s game. My neighbors are getting a kick out of it too. They don’t understand the whole giant oversized inflatable thing. I told them it’s a Delco thing.”

Hopefully this guy makes the local news down there. There’s no doubt about it. He’s still 100% Delco.

Players' cleats were melting and Eagles coach Nick Sirianni needed an IV due to extreme heat conditions during Sunday's game between Philadelphia and the Tennessee Titans.

"That turf was just radiating," Eagles offensive lineman Cam Jurgens said, noting postgame that his feet were "burning, still hurting."

Philadelphia Eagles OL Cam Jurgens says the Nissan Stadium turf in Tennessee was so hot that two pairs of his cleats melted during Sunday’s game against the Titans, and he described the field as “hot lava” after Philadelphia’s 24-20 win.

Players were seen spraying water directly onto their cleats throughout the game as field temperatures reached roughly 157°F.

Titans safety Amani Ho**er previously said the midsoles of his cleats completely melted off during Tennessee’s Week 1 game at the same stadium.
