Today, we passed the FY 2027 budget with near-unanimous support from City Council. Moving Houston forward with a $7.5 billion plan built by and for our community.

I’m grateful to our Council partners, my team for their long hours and dedication, and the many Houstonians who made their voices heard through public meetings, both in person and virtually. With input and letters of support from more than 90 neighborhoods, civic clubs, and businesses across our city, this budget reflects a transparent process and our continued commitment to delivering for Houston.
