Hello families, We are introducing a new system for our Houston Food Bank distribution. Families may now choose which items they would like to receive. Please note that declining an item does not allow you to receive extra amounts of another item. For example, if you choose not to take canned goods, you will not be able to receive extra milk, potatoes, or other items in place of them. All items are distributed in set quantities to ensure fairness for all families. Upon arrival, please be prepared to scan a QR code. For safety reasons, all families must remain in their vehicles while waiting. You may only exit your vehicle when your line is called and you are at the front to sign in. Students will then load items into your vehicle

Black History Month reminds us of a powerful legacy of resilience, unity, and service — neighbors uplifting neighbors and communities standing strong together. In that spirit, we invite you to join our food distribution with the Houston Food Bank this Saturday, February 21st, located behind C.E. King High School at the bus ramp area. Distribution begins at 9:00 AM and continues while supplies last.This event is more than food — it is community, compassion, and continuing a legacy of service that honors the meaning of Black History Month. King High School at the bus ramp area, starting at 9:00 AM and continuing until food runs out. This is a great opportunity for families and neighbors to come together, receive support, and feel the care our community has to offer. Let welcome our very first 2026 Houston Food Bank of the YEARRRRR! Join us this Saturday, January 17th, for our Houston Food Bank distribution from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM at C.E. King High School (Bus Ramp – back of the school). 💙❄️
As we welcome the New Year, we kindly ask everyone to bring patience, respect, and compassion as we work together to serve every family with care. Our staff and volunteers work incredibly hard, and on days when we are short-staffed, the process may move a bit slower—your understanding truly makes a difference. Please note that unkind or disrespectful behavior will not be tolerated and may result in denied service.
