East Belt Communities Crime Watch A Community Crime Watch Organization This led to partnering with nearby subdivisions since the same criminals were targeting all subdivisions.

After many months of continued home invasions, several homeowners set about to form a Crime Watch Program for their subdivision. By having one place to look at for information, neighbors can know what to be on the lookout for, how to protect themselves and how to respond by calling local authorities immediately, then other neighbors to keep an eye out.

EGGING OF CARS/HOUSES! We have seen this over the years, but with an increase in the last few weeks. Recently, some junior high kids at a bus stop on Karsen @ Krista ct. were throwing eggs at buses and cars. A police report was filed and the kids were addressed this morning. The bus driver was notified along with the head of the Channelview bus transport. The parents of these children will be notified and they will find out who the actual perpetrators in the group were. We take this mischief seriously since it is potential damage to personal property. Thank you to those of you that took the time to email the crime watch team and notify the police so that we could look into it further. We are safer when everyone is involved!

We are starting to see an increase in suspicious activity and criminal behavior! We need to alert our neighbors to be on the lookout and report any and all suspicions to the police 713-221-6000 Option 1.

DEA agents armed with Assault Rifles and Machine Guns stormed & raided a house on Makenna ln this afternoon. While they wouldn't disclose why, one would assume they had reason to believe it was necessary to do so. Maybe neighbors next to the house might have an idea what was going on in the home that would lead to the action today.

Republic Trash Services did a MAJOR recall of Trash cans in our neighborhood for the unpaid or seriously delinquent accounts. So be aware of neighbors that may start using your trash can without your consent.

A black male was walking up and down the street on Hidden Crest with a radio in hand. When he saw my wife he jumped in the car and drove off. TX plates PYW-347 pewter colored car.

We are starting to hear reports of people either being seen going in to mailboxes that are not theirs or people are noticing Mail fraud issues. Please be careful about what you send out in the mail...if anything, take it to the post office!
