Longfellow families,
We need your partnership in making daily, on-time attendance a priority. At 8:40 this morning, many students were still arrivingβ40 minutes after instruction began. Late arrivals mean missed lessons, directions, and opportunities to practice.
Those minutes add up:
10 minutes late each day = 50 minutes of missed instruction per week.
20 minutes late each day = more than 6 hours of missed instruction in a four-week month.
Missing just 2 days each month = 18 days over nine monthsβmore than 3 weeks of school.
Please plan for traffic, breakfast, and drop-off so your child is in class and ready to learn by 8:00 a.m. Breakfast is available from 6:30β7:45 a.m.
We understand that unexpected delays happen. When your child is well and able to attend, please make getting to school every day, on time, a family priority. We will make every instructional minute count. We need your help ensuring your child is here for them.
