🎭 From The Diana Awards to the Tony Awards! 🎭

The Diana Foundation proudly congratulates Tye Blue on his multiple Tony Award nominations for the Broadway hit Titanique.

Long before Broadway's biggest night, Tye was part of our Diana family, serving as host of the 59th Annual Diana Awards on March 10, 2012, at Hotel ZaZa Houston.

Today, his creativity, vision, and passion for storytelling are being recognized on theater's biggest stage. We couldn't be more proud to celebrate this incredible milestone and wish him the very best at this year's Tony Awards.

🌟 Congratulations, Tye Blue! Break a leg! 🌟

📺 Watch the 79th Annual Tony Awards live on Sunday, June 7, at 7:00 p.m. CT on CBS or stream on Paramount+. The free pre-show, The Tony Awards: Act One, begins at 5:35 p.m. CT on Pluto TV.

🌈 As we kick off Pride Month, we celebrate by preserving our history.

The Diana Foundation is proud to announce the addition of a rare recording of the 11th Annual Follyball (1977) to our archive housed at the University of Houston Libraries Special Collections.

For decades, Follyball brought Houston's LGBTQ+ community together through humor, creativity, and fellowship. While not a Diana Foundation event, many Diana members were part of its rich history, making this recording an important addition to the story of our community.

Pride is more than a celebration of where we are today—it is also an opportunity to honor those who came before us, preserve their stories, and ensure future generations understand the legacy they inherited.

As America’s oldest continuously active LGBTQ+ organization begins its 74th year, we remain committed to safeguarding the history of Houston’s LGBTQ+ community.
