Summer's over. The lemonade stand doesn't have to be. 🍋

School is back, but a folding table still works on a Saturday. A fall festival, a football tailgate, a craft fair, a crisp afternoon on your street: every one of them is a chance for a kid to set a price, make a sign, and run their own little business.

And when it gets cold? Lemonade becomes hot cocoa or cider. The stand is the point, not the season.

The spirit your kid found this summer does not clock out in September. If they are itching to open up again, let them.

Most kids set up a lemonade stand and wait for customers. This one went and found them. 🍋

Meet Luke. He loaded his hand-drawn "Happy Lemondae, Get it!" signs onto an e-bike and rode them out himself. He planted directional signs to steer traffic to his stand. He put a QR code right on the cup so anyone could pay in seconds. He even branded it with words like "Believe" and "Friends."

And by the end of the day? One very well-earned "Sold Out" sign.

This is what happens when a kid treats their stand like a real business. 💛

These kids stood in line for a medal ceremony. Not for the fastest time or the most goals. For something harder. 🍋🏅

They each took an idea, turned it into a real business, welcomed their first customers, and learned what it actually takes to run a stand. And on this day, in front of the whole town, they got called up one by one to hear the words every young entrepreneur deserves: "And the Lemmy goes to…"

Then came the group photo. Look at how many future business owners one community just raised.

They just earned an award for running her own business. But the moment that meant the most had nothing to do with the medal. 🍋📖

It was a book: "Bee Fearless: Dream Like a Kid" by Mikaila Ulmer, the young founder who turned a lemonade stand into a national brand.

The young entrepreneurs behind The Tiny Soda Cart is already running their own operation (a soda cart, not a lemonade stand, and that's allowed).

Watching them discover someone who walked the same path before is a reminder of why representation and role models matter, even at this age.

When life gives you lemons (and fresh eggs), you raise $383 for your neighbors. 🍋🥚

Huge congratulations to Maddi and Emi, whose Lemon-Egg Stand donated every dollar to the BC Wildfire Recovery Effort. They didn't just learn how to run a business, they learned how a community's generous spirit can make a real difference together.

This is what "Lemonade Day was just the beginning" looks like. 🍋

We are so proud of Olivia. From winning Lemonade Day and earning national recognition to creating custom sorbet flavors with a local business, all before sixth grade, she's proof that big ideas really can come from the smallest entrepreneurs. And a future veterinary clinic owner too? Watch out, world.

There's so much more to a lemonade stand than lemonade. 🍋

Our friends at spent the day teaching kids the real fundamentals: how to brand their stand, pick a theme, design a logo, and even perfect their recipe (peach or raspberry, that is the question).

Watching young entrepreneurs light up as their ideas come to life is exactly why this program exists.

Happy National Lemonade Day! 🍋

Today the whole country raises a glass to the humble cup of lemonade, and we can't think of a better reason to celebrate. Because for us, every stand is a kid's very first business, and every cup is a lesson in confidence, hard work, and dreaming big.

This is what community support looks like. 🍋

A huge thank you to Chuck Colvin Ford Nissan for turning their McMinnville lot into a Lemonade Day celebration, complete with kid-run stands, games, and a whole lot of hometown pride. When a local business shows up like this, everybody wins, especially the young entrepreneurs.
