We had a great time at the Lone Star Flight Museum for Girls in Aviation Day, 19 September. The museum was at capacity for the event. Met a lot of young ladies and a few young men as well. We had an opportunity to explain homebuilt aircraft construction and the use of Clecos. Note the best times for loading and removing 10 fasteners as quickly as possible.

Last Friday, our EAA Chapter visited the Ellington Airport Control Tower to learn more about all the valuable work they do for the local aviators. Since it was a Federal Holiday (and most the government aircraft were parked), there was plenty of opportunity to ask questions. Thanks to David and Reshel who coordinated this visit.
