Springtime haze and a rather abrupt afternoon squall line didn't keep the Museum and volunteers from a full Memorial Day effort. Curator and chief pilot Rick Sharpe flew patterns with the F-100F, then joined other Museum aircraft at Lone Star Flight Museum for a Memorial Day commemoration, including the AD-4NA Skyraider, Polish-built MiG-17bis, joined by Collings Foundation F-4D Phantom II, T-33 Shooting Star, TA-4F Skyhawk, and Jerod Flohr's Skyhawk 518. The Museum's Benjamin Garcia, Jack Jones, Barry Swann, Theron Volquardsen, Jordan King. and Collings' Christopher George made it all happen, including providing fast cover for the aircraft in the nick of time before the squall hit. The Museum's new, silver L-39 was also out early for some fresh air.

Quick walkaround of the Museum hangar as other aircraft prep for Memorial Day displays at Lone Star Flight Museum. Including the front office of the F-100F, MiG-21UM getting some deserved engine TLC, and the most recent acquisition L-39 with the showroom finish.
