Be sure to join us Tuesday, May 19, at 6:30 (talk begins at 7) for our next Fungi in the North Woods talk -- this one about Fungus in Literature with Andrew Fiss showing images from the “Mushroom Book” of 1821 as part of scientific illustrators’ work on fancy fungi; Mark Lounibos discussing Emily Dickinson, H.P. Lovecraft, and fearful fungi; and Laura Fiss discussing the funny fungi of Sylvia Plath’s “Mushrooms” and its musical setting. (image courtesy Wikipedia)
