Postponed from early May, our Federal Government Contracting 101 class will be held June 4 at 10am EDT. This no-cost webinar is oriented toward the newcomer to the government marketplace but is also a worthwhile refresher for those already selling to the government. We will discuss the federal government market, how the government buys, finding opportunities, SBA's small business programs, registrations and certifications, DOD-specific requirements, tips for success, and how we can assist.

The MIOSHA Training Institute (MTI) is offering FREE asbestos and lead awareness training courses across Michigan this spring and summer.

These sessions will cover asbestos and lead awareness, compliance requirements and introduce participants to AMIS 2.0 — MIOSHA’s new statewide asbestos database designed to streamline licensing, training, project notifications and other program requirements.

Training dates:
• May 27 — Ga***rd
• June 2 — Monroe
• June 24 — Clinton Township
• June 30 — Lansing
• July 14 — Hancock

Courses are limited to 25 participants to encourage engagement and allow attendees to speak directly with MIOSHA staff and ask questions.
