The Career Closet offers students a chance to acquire professional clothing needed for Career Fair and interviews at no charge. The fall event was hugely successful, providing 950 items to 275 students!

The Career Closet is also looking for volunteers. If you are interested, please sign up using the link attached or email [email protected]. The Career Closet will be open on Saturday, February 18 from 1–5 p.m. and Sunday, February 19 from 10–2 p.m.

Please consider donating to support Michigan Tech students as they prepare for Career Fair and other career opportunities! Donations will be accepted from January 30–February 17.

The Career Closet is back! Our friends in the DEIS and Student Affairs are accepting donations of gently worn, clean business clothing. Your items will be available to all Michigan Tech students at no cost. Donations will be accepted through Friday, September 16.

Urgent Need for Bridgefest Volunteers

Rotary need volunteers to sell tickets, serve beer/wine, and assist with beer security ( standing at checkpoints around Kestner park to remind people that no alcohol can enter or leave the fenced-off area). Volunteer opportunities are in three-hour shifts. If you want to sign up or have questions, contact Scott Blake at [email protected].

Positions that still need to be filled are:

Friday, June 17
12 - 3 pm: 1 ticket seller, 3 beer/wine servers
3 - 6 pm: 1 beer/wine server, 4 beer security workers
6 - 9 pm: 2 ticket sellers
9 pm-midnight: 3 ticket sellers, 1 beer/wine server, 4 beer security

Saturday, June 18
12 - 3 pm: 4 beer security workers
3 - 6 pm: 4 beer security workers
6 - 9 pm: 2 ticket sellers, 5 beer security workers
9 pm-midnight: 3 ticket sellers, 4 beer/wine servers, 1 beer security worker

Workers should show up at the ticket-selling tent 15 minutes before your shift begins to receive your t-shirt.

DESIGN EXPO JUDGES NEEDED
Design Expo 2022 will be held in person on Thursday, April 21.

The Alumni Jazz Band is playing at the Rozsa this Saturday, March 19, 2022. They are looking for ushers to help with the program.
