Project HOPE Food Bank Project HOPE Food Bank distributes food to 55 agencies in central Arkansas, that serve those at risk of hunger. Project HOPE Food Bank is a 501(c)(3) charity.

With your alliance and support we will continue to make a difference in the lives of people in our community facing hunger. Your tax deductible contributions provides the food bank the ability to reach out to the 45 agencies we serve. These agencies are located in seven Arkansas counties. We operate as a pooling of resources, helping to supporting 45 area non-profits that do not have the assets to purchase or store enormous quantities of food. Purchasing food wholesale in large lots for the best price helps homeless shelters, charity kitchens, food pantries, crisis centers, children’s homes, school backpack programs and children’s feeding programs to fulfill their missions. Our impact in the community is extensive due to our resources: a donated warehouse, debt-free equipment, and a volunteer workforce which includes our Executive Director and Inventory Specialist.

Mardi Gras in the Spa was created with a simple vision: to build a celebration that brings people together, creates new traditions in Hot Springs, and uses that celebration to make a meaningful difference in the lives of people in our community. After a successful first year, we are building on that foundation with an even greater opportunity to grow the event, strengthen community involvement, and increase the impact we can make together.

For 2027, we are proud to support Project HOPE Food Bank and its work addressing hunger and food insecurity throughout our region. Their broad reach and network of resources give us the opportunity to help more families and make every dollar we raise go even further. Our goal is for Mardi Gras in the Spa to become a lasting Hot Springs tradition—one that people look forward to year after year not only because it is an incredible celebration, but because businesses, organizations, volunteers, and attendees know that by being part of it, they are helping their neighbors when they need it most.
