If you've ever been part of Camp Tanako — as a camper, counselor, on staff, or in a camper's family — we've opened a new community for you. Thousands of people have spent time at Tanako since 1948, and we'd love to connect with as many of you as we can. Join our new Camp Tanako Alumni Facebook Group and check out the new Alumni page on our website and join the alumni email list (links in comments). Summer Staff training is a go! Our Summer counselors, kitchen staff, lifeguards and more have begun to gather. Today they moved in, cleaned, set-up the sound system, mowed, cooked, made new friends, and much more. All to get ready to overflow your children and families with the love of Christ!

As I shopped at Sam's Club in order to feed the staff, I heard a voice call out "Are you from Tanako? Is it still open?" A lovely "young" lady saw my shirt and shared with me that she had been to camp in the 50s as a ten-year-old! I assured her we were going strong, welcoming campers in just a few weeks, and that she should come visit. We welcome you to come, register your children, and join in our 78th year of ministry!
