Mr. Vee's certificate is on display now next to his photo at home.

Our family is so, so blessed to have such wonderful friends that helped contribute to such a profound honor for Mr. Vee and for their support of the Arkansas FFA Foundation. Agriculture, Arkansas, and good friends were some of Mr. Vee's favorite things!

Thank you again for your friendship and support! We look forward to sharing in the joy of inducting many other well-deserving Ag educators into the Legendary Owl Hall of Fame in the future!

Mr. Vanoven, former agriculture instructor and FFA Advisor, will be honored on stage Wednesday, April 27 at the 95th Arkansas FFA State Convention. He will be mentioned as one of several inducted into the Legendary Owl Hall of Fame.

A formal dedication will be held later this summer at Camp Couchdale when renovations are complete.

All supporters who made this possible are welcome to attend the 5th session at 9:00 a.m. at the Hot Springs Convention Center. His family would love to see you there!

Ladies and gentlemen, allow me to introduce to you Arkansas's most recently recognized FFA Legendary Owl, Mr. Jim Vanoven!

With the help of many friends, loved ones, former students, former coworkers, pickin' buddies, acquaintances, and so many others, the funds were raised to contribute to the Ag Mechanics lab in the Fletcher Leadership Center at Camp Couchdale in Hot Springs.

Each year, FFA students from the entire state visit Camp Couchdale for Convention, Leadership Camp, and various other educational activities. The legacy that Mr. Vanoven left in smalltown Arkansas will spread across the entire state and carry on nationally through the students that use the Ag Mechanics Lab in Hot Springs.

The family of Mr. Vee would like to express our sincere gratitude for your generous contributions to this cause.

There is also a scholarship given annually to a prospective agriculture student in memory of Mr. Vanoven if you would like to contribute in another way. Please see the page for more information - Van Agri Memorial Scholarship Foundation

Again, thank you for helping us honor such a wonderful person!

UNCLE SAM SAID "YOUR DONATIONS ARE TAX DEDUCTIBLE!"

Thank you all so much for your interest and donations to our efforts. We are so excited to help in funding the Ag Mechanics lab at Camp Couchdale. I know many of you guys spent time at "Couchdale" in your younger days and many of you have children who have gotten to visit the camp or you have kiddos nearing the age to visit. The folks at Camp Couchdale are working to make a way for yours and other children in Arkansas to learn with the best, most advanced, state of the art tools and technology. We are eager to see how the lab comes together!

As always, please share, share, share our page to get the word out.
We want anyone that
knew Mr. Vee,
loved Mr. Vee,
heard of Mr. Vee,
or even spelled a word with a "V" in it
sees this page!
