Jeffers Bend Environmental Center Jeffers Bend's 40 acre grassland, 1 acre lake, & 2.7 miles of walking trails provide a variety of environmental education opportunities plus gardens.

Jeffers Bend consists of a 40 acre grassland, 1 acre lake, 2.7 miles of walking trails and six buildings which once housed the old Hopkinsville Water Treatment Plant. Originally built in the 1895, along the North Fork of the Little River, these facilities are ideal for water quality, environmental and botanical learning activities.
