What an incredible way to wrap up our summer league season!!
Last night, the #1 seeded Marlins faced off against the #3 seeded White Sox in an exciting championship matchup. The Marlins came out strong early but the White Sox battled back and never gave up. After a hard fought game filled with great plays and determination from both teams, the White Sox claimed the championship victory with a 9-7 win!!
Both teams showed tremendous heart, sportsmanship and resilience from the first pitch to the final out. We couldn’t be more proud of all our players throughout the season. We watched these young athletes grow confidence, improve their skills, support their teammates and most importantly, have fun Playing the game.
Congratulations to both the Marlins and The White Sox on an outstanding season and an unforgettable championship game!
