Vietnam Veterans Day Memorial Service

📍 In front of the Veterans Memorial Building – Downtown Hollister, California

On this solemn day of remembrance, our community will gather to pay tribute to the brave men and women who served during the Vietnam War era.

The ceremony will include:
• The laying of wreaths
• The playing of Taps
• The reading of the names of local Vietnam Veterans

Observed nationally on March 29 as part of National Vietnam War Veterans Day, this day is an opportunity to recognize the service and sacrifice of Vietnam Veterans and their families.
Please join us as we stand together in gratitude and respect. All community members are welcome.

An Air Force veteran battling pancreatic cancer found constant comfort in his devoted lab, Gunner, who refused to leave his side through every restless, painful moment. In a heartbreaking final act of loyalty, the 11-year-old dog grew gravely ill and was put to sleep—just an hour and a half before his beloved human also passed away.

We just attended a ceremony for the 4 Chaplains last weekend.

Today we recognize and honor the four Army chaplains who paid the ultimate sacrifice while saving others during the sinking of the USS Dorchester in 1943.
