Did you miss the pre-order deadline? Good news! We have a limited number of extra 2026 yearbooks available for purchase. These are first-come, first-served, so don't hit snooze on Wednesday morning!

☀️ FIELD DAY IS COMING! ☀️
Get ready for one of the most exciting days of the school year! Cerra Vista Field Day is happening on Friday, May 29th, complete with a DJ and a hot dog lunch!

To make this day a massive success for our students, we need incredible parent volunteers to help out during the grade-level sessions:
👐🏼 Set Up: 8:00 AM - 8:30 AM
🏃‍♂️ TK, Kinder & 1st: 8:30 AM – 9:15 AM
👟 2nd & 3rd: 9:25 AM – 10:00 AM
🥇 4th & 5th: 10:10 AM – 10:55 AM

⚠️ Important Volunteer Requirement: Per school policy, all volunteers must be officially signed up and live scanned in order to participate on campus.

🎒 Perk Alert: Every student will be gifted a special CV bag and water bottle for the event!

🏅 AND THE WINNER IS... 3RD GRADE! 🏆
Congratulations to our Mario Coin Challenge Champions! 🏎️💨 Team Princess Peach 🍑 pulled out all the stops and took home the checkered flag in an incredible race!
Here is what 3rd Grade has earned:
🏆Trophy: Keep an eye out, 3rd graders! We will be dropping off your classroom Mario trophies MONDAY MORNING!
🍦 Ice Cream: We are coordinating with your teachers right now to schedule a well-deserved ice cream treat!
A HUGE thank you to everyone in the Cerra Vista community who donated, threw “shells” (coins), and supported this fundraiser. Because of your incredible participation, we are super excited to have raised significant funds to thank DJ Aaron for all his help over the year!! 🎉🎶
📝 One Last Thing: There is still time to show DJ AAron some love! If your student made a thank you card or a picture, please drop it off in the front office this week.
Thanks again to everyone who supported this PTO fundraiser. You all get a ⭐ in our book!

🏎️💨 FINAL LAP ALERT!
The Cerra Vista Mario Coin Challenge is almost over, and we have a new leaderboard! The race to the finish line is incredibly close.
Here are the current standings as we approach the checkered flag:
🥇 1st Place: 3rd Grade! (Team Peach is taking the lead!) 🍑
🥈 2nd Place: 1st Grade! (Team Rosalina is hot on their heels!) ✨
🥉 3rd Place: TK! (Team Daisy is still in the running!) 🌼
The rest of the grades are close behind—it’s still anyone’s game!
⚠️ CRITICAL REMINDER: This FRIDAY is the LAST DAY to drop donations in the boxes in the front office. After Friday, the track closes!
It’s time to use those last-minute power-ups:
🟢 Paper Money = POSITIVE points for your grade! Boost your speed!
🔴 Coins = NEGATIVE points for other grades! Throw that blue shell!
Who will take home the ice cream treat and the trophy? The final tally and winner will be announced over the weekend! Keep an eye on our page!

🏎️ MARIO COIN CHALLENGE UPDATE! 🏁

The race is heating up, Cerra Vista! We have a new leaderboard as we head into the final stretch. Here is the current TOP 3:
🥇 1st Place: TK (Team Daisy 🌼)
🥈 2nd Place: Kindergarten (Team Toad 🍄)
🥉 3rd Place: 2nd Grade (Team Yoshi 🦖)

Can anyone catch TK? It’s time to use those power-ups! 🌟
Drop your DOLORS (Paper Money 🟢) in your grade’s box to boost your score and pull ahead!
Drop your CHANGE (Coins 🔴) in other grades’ boxes to hit them with a "red shell" and knock down their points!

New rankings will be posted in the front office TOMORROW, Friday, 5/8. Bring in that donation stash before school and let’s see who takes the lead! 🏎️💨🎶

🏁🪙 The Mario Coin Challenge is HERE! 🪙🏁
The Cerra Vista PTO is kicking off two weeks of friendly (and sneaky!) grade-level competition — and it all comes down to your coins. Here's how it works:
💵 Paper money = POSITIVE points for your grade. Put ALL paper money in YOUR OWN grade's box!
🪙 Coins = NEGATIVE points. Drop coins into OTHER grades' boxes to drag their score down!
⚠️ DO NOT put coins in your own grade's box — that hurts YOUR team!
📦 Donation boxes are located in the front office. Drop by anytime May 4–15!
📊 Standings will be posted every Wednesday and Friday so you can track the competition — with the final tally on Friday, May 15.
🏆 The grade with the most positive points wins an ice cream party (last week of school) AND a trophy that lives in the winning classroom all year long!
You can also drop off thank you notes or draw a picture in the office as an extra fun surprise for DJ AAron
