For Another Pop-Up Pantry

4 Others Inc. will be holding another popup pantry this Wednesday starting at 8 am weather permitting. We will be testing out a portable washing machine so if you have a small load of laundry, you would like cleaned bring it by.

As we ramp up to the upcoming “Operation Stand Down” in Worcester on June 12th we received a generous donation from Duke Cannon. The photo below shows 16 cased of their product that arrived at 4 Others today.

Portable Washing Machine - First Test Run

Tested the first portable washing machine today and it went well. It appears that we are on track to deploy them at our next popup pantry at St. John's on Temple Street in Worcester. We will keep you posted.

Portable Washing Machines Have Arrived

Thanks to a generous grant from the Community Foundation of North Central Massachusetts several portable washing machines have arrived at 4 Others Inc. They will soon become a part of the 4 Others Inc. pop-ups. We are hoping to debut them on June 3rd at our St. John’s Food for the Poor pop-up on Temple Street in Worcester. The machines can clean a small load of laundry in approximately 8 minutes. Laundry can also be spun dry if needed. Detergent will be provided.

We are already planning for an expansion of the program in the near future.

The Pop Ups Continue to Be A Big Success

Today we held another popup at St. John’s Food for the Poor on Temple Street in Worcester. It was our busiest to date. Today we distributed:

220 pairs of socks
75 pairs of women’s underwear
45 hygiene backpacks
100 hygiene kits
75 dental kits
30 cases of beverages
100 packets of sunscreen
62 packs of laundry detergent sheets
3 cases of chips
6 boxes of miscellaneous clothing
40 feminine hygiene kits
63 blankets
480 sterilization wipes
2 cases of pet food

Look at the Bombas socks donation that arrived today! My wife is going to kill me! They are taking up her side of the garage.

Another Busy Pop-Up Today

We held another pop-up at St. John’s on Temple St. in Worcester. It was well received and a great success. We distributed hygiene kits, beverages, Bombas socks, Bombas women’s underwear, dental hygiene kits, feminine hygiene products, clothing, shoes, laundry detergent sheets, sterilizing wipes, and pasta.

Thanks to everyone who makes these events possible from our supporters to our pickup and delivery teams that keep the product rolling in and out at 4 Others Inc. and to Ron and Maryellen who have such a great rapport with so many that we help at this event.

Another Successful Pop-Up on Thursday

We assisted a record number of those in need this past Thursday during an unannounced popup at St. John’s Food for the Poor. Ron, Maryellen and I distributed drinks, canned goods, hygiene kits, underwear, socks, laundry detergent sheet, blankets, toilet paper and feminine hygiene products.

All of the product that we brought to the pop-up was distributed in less than thirty minutes. The needs of the homeless and others in need continues to increase.

Thank you to all our corporate and individual supporters who make these events possible.

Thank you to the young men and women at St. Mary's in Jefferson (Holden) and Shrewsbury along with the young men at St. John's who assembled all the hygiene kits that were distributed.
