Will be at St. Cecilias cemetery tomorrow morning ( Saturday, June 6th) from roughly 9am to noonish if anyone wants to join me..may have a few of my grandkids to help clean and beautify some military markers. Visited 3 cemeteries for the 1st time this week (Riverside in W.Townsend, Central cemetery in Millbury, and Glenwood in Maynard) .some before and afters posted here.

SO very thankful for the continued support from the local community for volunteering with me and my family several times a year to clean and beautify our military markers (graves). Yesterday, 8 volunteers from Element (in Boxboro, MA) and Becky Gallo's family visited Evergreen cemetery in. Leominster to install roughly 20 guards and cleaned and beautified a *bunch* more! Spencer (4 yr old grandson) was clearly getting into it as well!

With my retirement from HP in the very near future ( July 15th, 26) after 43 years 3 months and 11 days, I am SO VERY excited to dedicate much more time to Mulch for Military. It has certainly been interesting juggling both "jobs" over the last 4 + years since M for M was formed in Sept of '21. This should be our most productive year yet! Fundraisers are lined up at Sterling St Brewery, Wachusett brewery, Greater Good brewery, 18 hole Golf Tournament at Groton Country club in Sept. And the Halloween bike run in Canton MA in October. -We are hosting a bunch of volunteer days with Bristol Myers Squib (2) , NationalGrid, Element, and Home Depot.

Due to a ailing shoulder, our planned volunteer day for tomorrow, Sat. Nov 1 is being canceled. We had a very productive volunteer day a few weeks back at Evergreen cemetery, and still trying to visit st. Cecilia's Cemetery next week to clean/beautify the veteran markers there to have as many markers looking great for veterans day on Nov. 11th. Thanks for a GREAT year if you helped Mulch for Military in any way! Still sponsors spots open on our truck so if interested please reach out ! Thanks again all! Looking forward to planning our fundraisers for 2026 and scheduling many more volunteer days. Always looking for businesses who want to participate at a volunteer day as well. I cannot express enough gratitude to the employees, friends and family of Bristol Myers Squibb who sent 21 volunteers to Evergreen cemetery in Leominster on Saturday. Weather was perfect and we were able to install more than. 50 guards and cleaned and beautified countless more graves getting ready for families to visit their fallen heroes on veterans day ! Here are some photos from yesterday! Some group and action shots but also some before/afters. Special thanks to the veterans team at BMS and Jill Carillo who always brings volunteers ready to give it their all!

Great to be back at it today after resting the injured shoulder for a few weeks. Honored to install a guard for capt. John Joslin , founder of DAR , with a custom sized guard built by Thomas Akers; while at Evergreen in Leominster also cleaned and install a guard for John's "neighbor" U Victor Heikkenin. D2 cleaner and elbow grease has this one looking a whole lot better

So thankful for my family, friends, and all others who showed at Sterling Street Brewery brewery last night to support Mulch for Military. SSB staff was great, as were The DOTS ! Incredibly lucky to have the support of the community and all the local businesses who donated prizes for our raffles !

Returned to woodland Cemetery in Pepperell today with my grandson Lucas - great to have the help and company on this hot day ! So proud of the young man he is becoming and his awesome work ethic. We managed to start in a section near the flagpole where 23 vets are buried. Taylor Lewis
