ONE INCREDIBLE EVENING. ONE EXTRAORDINARY COMMUNITY.

What a night to remember! VIM’s 2026 Circle of Caring Gala, held on October 30, brought together more than 430 community supporters, volunteers, sponsors, and friends—and raised over $612k to support our mission of providing healthcare to neighbors who need it most.

One of the evening’s most special moments was welcoming Mary Ellen McConnell, wife of our founder, the late Dr. Jack McConnell, whose vision and compassion launched VIM in 1993. More than three decades later, that vision continues to change lives thanks to the generosity of this remarkable community. VIM also premiered its legacy video of the history of VIM that evening. The video is available for viewing on our website homepage (vimclinic.org).

We’re incredibly grateful to Palmetto Electric Cooperative for a generous $10,000 grant supporting VIM’s vaccination program. This grant helps VIM provide essential vaccinations and preventive care to our neighbors who might otherwise face barriers to accessing them.

What a wonderful Saturday! A huge thank-you to Indigo Run Women's Club for bringing the community together for their Paint the Streets Pink event and raising more than $3,000 for VIM’s Women’s Breast Health Program.

From the sea of pink to the incredible generosity behind it, this was a beautiful reminder of what can happen when a community comes together for a cause that matters.
