Their pastured pork comes from a completely off-grid operation, powered by solar and wind, where rotational grazing is helping restore soil worn down by decades of intensive agriculture. Their animals are raised in harmony with nature—100% grass-fed, grass-finished, and pasture-raised without the use of antibiotics, hormones, or vaccines.

Enjoy your produce for longer by fermenting them!

After many of us being out of power for multiple days, having fresh produce with no fridge became a clear issue for longevity. Instead of throwing away produce that’s destined to spoil within a couple of days, try chopping it up and fermenting it instead!

Lacto-fermentation is the same salt-and-time method people used to preserve food for generations before refrigeration existed. Vegetables submerged in a simple salt brine ferment safely at room temperature. Making your produce go from lasting a week to months after harvest.

Another successful pickup day here at HF2C! Our local farmers provided us with such bountiful and beautiful harvests this week. So much so that our Coolbot was at max capacity which is such a great reminder on how much our little market has grown over the years. We can’t thank those enough who continually choose to shop locally and show up for our community. Together, we can make a difference- every pickup Wednesday reminds us of that.

This week is for the fruit lovers 🌈🍍🥭🐉 shop fresh Hawai’i grown fruit from the farm to your car.

We have two different mango varieties: Rapoza and R2E2 weighing between 1-2lbs, lots of white pineapple, soursop, longan, finger limes, lilikoi, dragonfruit (purple and white), cacao, poha berries, wax jambu/java apples, papaya, and more!!!
