November Keiki Sail is coming up on November 1st! ⛵️🌊

Another opportunity for local keiki to get out on the water, learn the ropes, and spend the day sailing along the Kohala Coast!

Our Keiki Sail program is completely FREE for Hawaiʻi Island youth ages 11–17. No sailing experience necessary, just a willingness to learn and try something new!

Kuleana is something we hope our keiki carry with them both on and off the water.

Every sail is a chance to put it into practice. Looking out for one another, working together as a crew, respecting the ocean, and doing their part to care for the places we call home.

These are the lessons that go far beyond learning how to sail, and a big part of why we do what we do.

A little recap from our October Keiki Sail! ⛵️🌊

Another great day out on the water learning the ropes, exploring the ocean, and making memories aboard Pua!

We also had a special reef lesson with Eden, giving our keiki the chance to learn more about Hawaiʻi's coral reefs and the marine life that calls them home. 🪸

We're so grateful to everyone who helps make these free sailing experiences possible for Hawaiʻi Island's keiki. 💙

Meet the slate pencil urchin! Unlike the long, thin spines you might picture when you think of a sea urchin, these guys are known for their thick, blunt, pencil-like spines.

One of our favorite parts of getting keiki out on the water is seeing what they discover, and getting to learn a little more about the marine life that surrounds us here in Hawaiʻi.
