💜 Addiction does not discriminate, but hope and recovery are possible. Every life matters, and every story deserves to be heard.

Join us in honoring those we’ve lost, supporting those in recovery, and working toward a future where no family has to experience this pain. Together, we can create change.

Friday August 29th 6-7pm under the sails in downtown Union Square Hickory. We’ll have speakers sharing their stories of both loss and hope. Come sign the 2025 banner. 💜

Donation drop off sites at all ICGH locations in western North Carolina.

Our hearts go out to the communities in Western North Carolina devastated by Hurricane Helene. We are keeping everyone affected in our thoughts and prayers, and we're deeply grateful for the volunteers and emergency crews working tirelessly to rebuild.

In response, we’re setting up donation drop-off sites at all ICGH locations across WNC to support those in need. We are currently accepting donations of batteries, wipes, and bottled water, which will be delivered to Safe Harbor for distribution in McDowell County.

As I was leaving Raleigh today I was reflecting about my first trip to the states Capitol. Then I realized it wasn’t my first trip. I was there 9 years ago processing through the states female prison on my way from Greene county to black Mountian to await my release from the department of corrections. Only nine years ago. Today I’m seated at tables and having conversations with people making a difference in the world of recovery. People who have fought the good fight for decades and paved the way for people like me. I’m so grateful for these experiences and how far God and recovery has brought me. I never imagined my life could be this good. I’m grateful to be a part of an organization and team that’s making a difference.
