Her neighbor was the first woman on the Supreme Court. So she asked for career advice in the grocery store.

KT McFarland became Trump’s Deputy National Security Advisor, but when she was starting her career, there weren’t many women in national security to look up to.

By chance, her apartment neighbor in Washington was Sandra Day O’Connor, the first woman to serve as a justice on the U.S. Supreme Court.

At our Scottsdale Summit, KT shared an encounter with O’Connor and what it was like building a career without many female role models.

For years, Columbus Circle was completely neglected. The fountain wasn’t running and the whole area was filled with graffiti and piles of trash.

The circle is directly in front of Union Station and facing the Capitol. Cleaning it up was part of Trump’s effort to make “D.C. Safe and Beautiful.”

Today, the ribbon was cut. Tomorrow, the fencing will come down, and Columbus Circle will be officially open to the public.

Loving that our great nation’s capital is looking clean and beautiful again! 🇺🇸

Memorial Day is about the headstones in Arlington and around the country that mark our fallen heroes. It’s about their families they left behind. It’s about a level of sacrifice and that few understand and the freedom that rings because of it.
