Congrats to all our 8th Graders!!! ❤️❤️❤️ We hope you had an amazing Promotion filled with fun memories. And thank you to all our wonderful volunteers who helped make this day special. We truly couldn’t do it without you! AND You know loves our students and families when you have not 1, not 2, not 3 not 4… but 5 Presidents (past,current and future) there to support! HVPTO’s Memorial Day Parking Lot Fundraiser was a HUGE success, raising $11,000 over the three-day weekend! We could not have done this without our amazing volunteer Day Chairs Jeff Ackermann and Doug Gardner.

You each helped bring art to Hermosa students and should be so proud of your accomplishments. This program wouldn’t exist without your commitment and enthusiasm.

📣 Attention Incoming 6th, 7th, and 8th Grade Students and Families!

Mark your calendars! Hermosa Valley Middle School Registration will take place on Thursday, August 13th, 2026 from 9am-12pm in the Valley Bowl.

Principal Bledsoe will share additional details and important registration information over the summer, so stay tuned.

We encourage families to sign up to volunteer at this event (link in bio). It’s a great way to get involved in our school community and help students earn valuable service points before the 2026–2027 school year begins! Please remember that students earning service points must volunteer with a parent.

Yearbooks will be distributed this Thursday, June 11th! The yearbooks look incredible, and we have some special people to recognize for creating these amazing keepsakes!

For the View/Vista yearbook, a HUGE thank you goes out to Melissa Grashow! She produced this entire book which took countless hours of hard work and dedication while also assisting on the Valley yearbook. For the Valley yearbook, another HUGE thank you to Ms. Ripley and her Yearbook & Digital Photography class and Nancy Mason who assisted with 8th Grade Dedication pages and Baby Photos. You all did an amazing job!

Lastly, thank you to Lisa Vargas Gardner for managing yearbook sales and distribution. If you ordered a yearbook and your child didn’t receive one, look for the email receipt you received from [email protected] and forward it to [email protected], and we’ll track it down. If you can’t find your receipt or have any questions regarding yearbooks, you can also email [email protected] for help. **Note that HVPTO manages the distribution of yearbooks, so please start with us for any issues instead of the schools.
