The legacy of the Hermosa Beach Mural Project includes inspiring one of Board members to take this concept to her new beach town on the east coast. was founded in February 2020 and has funded 8 murals on the island thus far, with more planned in 2022.

The changing of the guard. The Hermosa Beach Murals Project has been officially handed over to the Hermosa Beach Historical Society. 10 murals in 10 years. What a great gift this non-profit has given to the city and the South Bay community. Maintaining our murals isn’t for the faint of heart. Yesterday, we cleaned and repaired Bo Bridges Volleyball mural.

Then it was on to the Biltmore mural to prepare the wall for the final coat of protective B72. Bravo to our board members who outlasted the rain and avoided the ⚡️.

The official Giclee of Mural #10, The Sand & Surf Hotel a.k.a The Biltmore is now available for purchase. The first ten signed & numbered giclees were auctioned off at the unveiling event and #12 through #25 are available at $200 each through September 1.
