✨ Be Part of a New Rotary Tradition ✨

For the first time, District 7280 will kick off District Conference weekend with a Rotary Foundation Gala at one of Mercer County’s most historic landmarks—the Mercer County Courthouse.

This special evening will bring Rotarians and guests together to celebrate the impact Rotary is making both locally and around the world while launching a weekend filled with fellowship, service, learning, and inspiration.

Our goal is to raise $50,000 for The Rotary Foundation. Those funds help support grants that return to communities like ours while also funding life-changing projects around the globe.

The setting is historic. The mission is meaningful. The impact is lasting.

Join us as we celebrate the power of service and invest in a brighter future—right here at home and beyond.

What a great idea ❤️

Celebrate America’s 250th Anniversary with us by helping us collect postcards from all 50 states!

Residents at The Heritage, The Ridgewood, The Villas, and The Colony will each be creating and displaying a U.S. map filled with postcards from across the country. As postcards arrive, they will be pinned and displayed on each residence’s map throughout the year. The goal is to fill up each map and see just how far the St. Paul’s community reaches through residents, families, team members, friends, followers, and even strangers from across the country.

Mail postcards to:
St. Paul’s Senior Living Community

Today Hermitage Rotary had the privilege of recognizing our 2026 Scholarship recipients, Michael Bower of Hickory High School and Abigail Rosa of Kennedy Catholic. 🎓

Each year, our club invests in the future of our community by supporting students who demonstrate leadership, service, dedication, and a commitment to making a difference.

We were honored to personally present Michael’s scholarship certificate today, and while we were unable to be present for Abigail’s presentation, we are equally proud to celebrate her accomplishments and recognition.

We look forward to officially honoring both students and presenting scholarship checks at our June 16 Rotary meeting at noon at Hickory Grille.

Congratulations, Michael and Abigail — your hard work, leadership, and commitment to your future make our community proud. 💙💛

What makes a good life? 🤔

For nearly 90 years, researchers from the Harvard Second Generation Study have followed the lives of more than 700 people to better understand health, happiness, and human connection. Their conclusion? It’s not wealth or status that matters most. It’s relationships.

Dr. Marc Schulz shares how strong social connections can improve our well-being. One way to build those connections? Volunteering alongside others in your community.

Discover why investing in relationships may be one of the most important things we can do for our health and our communities.

What an incredible day at the 20th Annual Mental Health Conference hosted by the Mercer County Behavioral Health Commission, Inc. 💚🌱

The Hermitage Rotary Club was proud to support today’s “Succulents & Self-Care” workshop through our Rotary District Grant Project, helping bring an interactive and meaningful experience to nearly 80 participants during Mental Health Awareness Month.

Throughout the workshop, participants were reminded that self-care matters, resilience grows over time, and even small moments to recharge can have a lasting impact. Watching people slow down, laugh, create, connect, and simply enjoy the experience together was powerful to see.

A heartfelt thank you to the Mercer County Behavioral Health Commission for all they do to support mental health awareness and advocacy in our community.

We are also incredibly grateful to Katie Gassner and Growing Wellness LLC for partnering with Rotary on this project and creating such a thoughtful and engaging workshop experience.

This is what Rotary is all about — bringing people together, supporting community well-being, and turning grant dollars into real impact. 🌿

As Mental Health Awareness Month continues, the Hermitage Rotary Club is proud to sponsor a “Succulents & Self-Care” workshop through our Rotary District Grant at tomorrow’s 20th Annual Mental Health Conference hosted by the Mercer County Behavioral Health Commission. 🌱💚

Today was setup day, and we are excited to welcome 75–80 participants for an experience centered around mindfulness, creativity, connection, and emotional wellness.

Mental health touches every family, workplace, school, and community. During Mental Health Awareness Month, we are reminded that caring for ourselves and others matters — and that even small acts of self-care can have a meaningful impact.

Through hands-on activities, calming environments, and positive connection, Growing Wellness, LLC helps create experiences that encourage stress relief, mindfulness, and emotional well-being in a unique and approachable way.

Rotary is honored to support initiatives that help break the stigma surrounding mental health while creating spaces where people feel seen, supported, and encouraged.

Tomorrow, growth will happen one conversation, one connection, and one succulent at a time. 🌿
