The 2019 event recognized five local women for advancing the cause of females in leadership who have demonstrated excellence, creativity, and initiative in their community and profession.

The recipient of the established ATHENA Leadership Award is: Jennifer Nicholson, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Pennsylvania Judiciary

The recipient of the emerging ATHENA Young Professional Leadership Award® is: Jessica Patton, New Castle Area School District.
