I was reminiscing a little tonight after our board meeting. I was looking for a spot for my latest patch. When I look at this cardigan, I see so much more than a collection of patches. I see memories, friendships, new experiences, community, and all the little moments that have made Lady Scouts what it is today. ❤️

Lady Scouts began in January 2021 with a simple idea: bring women together to learn, grow, have fun, and do some good along the way. What started with a small group and our very first Meet & Mingle at Webb Winery has grown into a community of women who continue to show up for one another and for the communities we call home.

Over the years, we’ve learned new skills, explored new places, supported local businesses, cleaned up our waterways, learned CPR and first aid, collected donations, supported families and children, helped animals in need, and raised thousands of dollars and countless needed items for local organizations.

But perhaps my favorite part is that we never have to choose between having fun and making a difference. We get to do both.

And yes… there are patches. 😊

Each one represents an event, an experience, a new adventure, or a way we came together to make a difference. Earning patches is just one of the many perks of being a Lady Scout and getting involved, but I love that they give us something tangible to look back on. Someday, I hope this cardigan is completely covered—and that every patch comes with a story.

As President, one of the things that makes me proudest is seeing how much this organization has grown and, even more importantly, seeing the generosity of the women who make it what it is.

Lady Scouts is about friendship, trying something new, supporting local, giving back, and making memories while leaving our community a little better than we found it.

Today, a few of our members were honored to represent Lady Scouts by attending the ribbon cutting ceremony for the Shenango Valley Animal Shelter’s new facility! 🐾 We were proud to present a $500 donation to help support their continued work and mission. This gift is in addition to the brick we purchased earlier this summer in support of the shelter.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to give back to an organization doing so much for our community and its animals. ❤️🐾

Prepared to help and ready to make a difference. ❤️

A few of our Lady Scouts spent Wednesday getting CPR, AED & First Aid certified! They attended the CPR, AED, First Aid Certification Course hosted by The Chelsea Rowe Rescue Fund in partnership with the Hermitage Fire - Rescue. We love seeing our members take the time to learn valuable skills that can make a difference when it matters most.

Proud of these ladies for continuing to learn, grow, and look out for their community! 👏🏼

Last night was such a special evening at Lydalia Gardens. 🌸

As I watched our ladies create beautiful bouquets, enjoy delicious w**e and treats, and simply spend time together, I couldn’t help but feel incredibly grateful to be part of this organization.

What touched me most was the generosity of our members. They didn’t just come to enjoy a beautiful evening—they came ready to give back. The amount of donations collected for Prince of Peace Center and their Feets & Seats program was truly heartwarming. This is exactly what Lady Scouts is about, and I couldn’t be more proud of the women who continue to show up for our community.

A very special thank you to Lydalia Gardens for hosting us, Webb Winery for providing the wonderful w**e, and The Perfect Pair for the delicious snack boxes. Your generosity helped make the evening even more memorable.

I feel incredibly lucky to be surrounded by women who believe that we can have fun, make memories, and still make a difference along the way. ❤️

Our U-Pick Bouquet Night is now open to the public but only 5 spots remain so don't wait to sign up! Join Lady Scouts on Saturday, August 29th at 6:00 PM at Lydalia Gardens for a fun evening of picking your own beautiful bouquet. Your ticket price will include a glass of w**e from Webb Winery and an optional snack pack from The Perfect Pair💐

This event will benefit Prince of Peace Center for their Feets & Seats program, which helps local children heading back to school. We’ll also be collecting new socks and underwear to help stock their supplies for the school year. 🧦❤️

It was our absolute pleasure to partner with Trails End Conservancy, INC for our kayak event this year! We are so happy to support such a wonderful cause. And a huge thank you for letting us tour the grounds and meet some amazing horses! 🐎

Our Lady Scouts had such a fun time out on the water last weekend! 💕 From paddling the Shenango River to enjoying lunch together and soaking up the summer sunshine, it was the perfect day to Be Social. Do Good. 🌸
