🌎💚 Happy Earth Day from the Lady Scouts! 💚🌎

From lending a helping hand at last year’s Shenango River clean-up to showing up in support at Friday night’s Shenango River Watchers banquet, our Lady Scouts continue to show what it means to Be Social. Do Good.

We’re so proud to support the Shenango River Watchers and their mission to protect and preserve the beautiful Shenango River and Lake. Whether we’re rolling up our sleeves or showing up to celebrate the impact being made, it’s all about community, connection, and caring for the world around us.

We are opening our first spring event up to the public but you only have two days to register! So don't wait!

💝🌸 Don’t miss your chance to join us on Sunday, April 12th at 2:00pm at Dockside Cellars for an afternoon full of charm, laughter, and connection.

In addition to fun giveaways and leaving with an adorable swag bag, we will have one of our very own Lady Scout members teaching a light etiquette course! We’re also proud to be collecting donation items for Reaching Up & Reaching Out—so you can sip tea while doing a little good, too!

Reaching Up & Reaching Out is a non-profit ministry, based in Mercer County, Pennsylvania. Their mission is to walk alongside women who have or who are experiencing a crisis in their lives, to provide them with Christ-centered spiritual, physical, and emotional support, as they work at recovery in their lives. Through their outreach and residential ministries, they strive to help women overcome oppression, hopelessness, and addiction. They have The Manna House which offers support and housing for women in need. They also have a thrift store called Twice Blessed.

Since they are supported based on donations alone, we will be collecting items donations at this event. Their greatest needs are personal care and hygiene items. They will also accept gift cards for Wal-Mart and Dollar General.

✨ We’re honored to be nominated for Best of the Best! ✨ Please vote for us!

Since 2021, The Lady Scouts has been built on one simple mission: Be Social. Do Good.

What began as a vision by founder Cara Papay to bring women together for friendship, fun, and personal growth has become a movement of women making a real difference across our region.

Over the past few years, The Lady Scouts has hosted more than 50 events and proudly volunteered for 89 organizations throughout the Mahoning and Shenango Valleys.

Together, our members have logged nearly 3,000 volunteer hours from 2022–2025, showing up for food pantries, animal shelters, crisis pregnancy centers, cancer support efforts, local schools, community clean-up days, and SO MUCH more.

We believe what makes The Lady Scouts special is that we are more than a social club.

We create meaningful opportunities for women to connect, build friendships, learn new skills, and then turn that connection outward into service for others.

That is what our motto Be Social. Do Good. means to us.

☘️ What a lucky day for the Lady Scouts! ☘️

We had an amazing time at the St. Patrick’s Day Parade in The City of Sharon, PA, and we’re so excited to share that our crew took home Best Pet Costumes! 🐾💚 Our four-legged friends showed up in style and definitely brought the charm.

Thank you to everyone who came out to support and celebrate with us. We love being part of such a fun community event!
