Jason E. Davis, Dealer Principal of Archie Cochrane Ford in Billings, has been named a 2027 TIME Dealer of the Year nominee and will represent the Montana Automobile Dealers Association on the national stage. He is one of just 47 dealers selected from more than 20,000 nationwide.

ason's story started behind a parts counter at 15 and has rown into nearly four decades in automotive, dealership nership, industry leadership and a deep commitment to his mployees and community. Since arriving in Billings, he has also rected more than $400,000 in contributions to local organizations across health care, education, youth development, public safety and more.

We're proud to see a Montana dealer recognized for the kind of leadership that goes far beyond sales numbers.

Last week, MTADA joined dealers from across the country in Washington, D.C. for NADA’s 51st Washington Conference, where dealers met directly with elected representatives to discuss federal issues affecting automotive retail.

This year’s conversations focused on issues with real implications for dealerships, including efforts to keep Chinese connected vehicles and technology tied to foreign adversaries out of the U.S. market, concerns around access to sensitive customer and vehicle data, and the bipartisan PART Act aimed at making stolen catalytic converters easier to trace.

For us, trips like this are about more than being in the room. They are an opportunity to make sure Montana dealers have a voice in conversations that can shape how dealerships operate, protect customer information and serve their communities.

August gave us a lot to smile about.

As the month comes to a close, we’re looking back at a few fun moments from the 112th Annual MTADA Convention in Butte.

From great conversations and plenty of laughs to reconnecting with dealers, sponsors, speakers and industry partners, this year’s convention was a great reminder of what makes the MTADA community so special.

Thank you again to everyone who joined us and helped make the event such a memorable one.

Many of you know Debbie through the MTADA Health Program. For the past 14 years, she has been a steady and trusted presence for dealers across Montana - helping HR teams, answering questions, handling payments and invoicing, and making sure things run smoothly for so many people.

At the MTADA office, Deb is truly the backbone of so much of what we do. She keeps things running behind the scenes and supports our dealers in ways that often go unseen, but never go unappreciated.

Recently, Deb was diagnosed with an aggressive cancer. While she’s approaching it with incredible strength, the road ahead will be challenging in many ways, including financially.

A GoFundMe has been created to help support Deb and her family during treatment and recovery. Our hope is to ease some of the financial burden so she can focus on her health and her family.
