Healdsburg Jazz Founded in 1999, Healdsburg Jazz is a year-round jazz performance and music education nonprofit. Our signature event is the annual jazz festival in June.

Chico Pinheiro Trio, combines Brazilian guitar brilliance with fine art at the Paul Mahder Gallery Sunday, August 23! At this special concert, he will perform alongside Edu Rebeiro (drums) and Scott Thompson (bass) with the Healdsburg Jazz Collective opening.

Chico Pinheiro is an exceptional guitarist with a beautiful sound and great fluidity, a unique composer who blends Brazilian Music, Classical Music, and Jazz. Chico has released multiple albums to critical acclaim, and he has been nominated twice for the American Grammy Awards.
Born and raised in São Paulo, Brazil, Chico began playing the guitar when he was six. At 14, he started work as a studio session guitarist and soon began collaborating with a wide range of artists in his hometown, then in Brazil, then abroad.

Celebrate the Centennial Celebration with the Ravi Coltrane Quartet! Just days before John Coltrane would have turned 100, his son, saxophonist Ravi Coltrane, presents a blazing young band to mark the milestone. For this celebration, he’s joined by the brilliant trumpeter Jonathan Finlayson, pianist/keyboardist Gadi Lehavi, and Bay Area-reared drum sensation Elé Howell. John Coltrane’s presence continues to illuminate new directions for exploration.
