Eden Village West The Jewish Organic Farm Camp! A sleepaway camp for ages 8-16, fostering an environmentally sustainable, socially just & spiritually connected world.

Eden Village West campers have the time of their lives while exploring a vibrant food culture and deepening their appreciation for the natural systems that sustain us. The Eden Village West experience includes organic farming, culinary arts, wilderness skills, herbalism, DIY projects and much more. Our campers emerge from immersive Jewish farm-to-table experiences empowered to promote a more envir

onmentally sustainable, socially just and spiritually connected world. In our diverse and compassionate community, each camper develops leadership skills, explores new passions, and awakens their sense of purpose and joy. Eden Village West expands the highly successful model of Eden Village Camp to the West Coast. Eden Village Camp in the Hudson Valley of New York has just finished its 10th summer and has grown by leaps and bounds from 120 campers in their first year to over 425 campers this summer!

What do you want Summer 2027 to look like? 🌻☀️
We know, we know… summer just ended. But around here, we are thinking about camp year-round. 💚
Maybe it looks like waking up under the Sonoma County sun. ☀️
Getting your hands in the earth on our organic farm. 🌱
Making art, music, food, and a little bit of mischief. 🎨
Celebrating joyful Jewish life and magical Shabbatot. ✨
Spending your days unplugged and surrounded by nature. 🌲
Mentoring young people as they discover more of who they are — while learning a whole lot about yourself along the way.
Whether you’re dreaming about returning home to the village or wondering if Eden could become your community for the very first time, we want to hear from you.
Working at Jewish summer camp is more than a summer job. It’s a chance to live intentionally, build meaningful relationships, mentor the next generation, and experience what happens when a group of wonderfully different humans comes together to build the world with love.

This summer, we had the absolute honor and blessing of welcoming Marco & Valentino into our Eden Village West family! 🐐💚🌻
Each summer, our wonderful friends at Goatlandia Animal Sanctuary entrust us with two goats to foster at camp — giving our campers the incredible opportunity to build relationships with animals through compassion, curiosity, responsibility, and lots and lots of love.
Marco and Valentino quickly became part of the rhythm of our village. Whether stopping by to say hello, helping care for them, or simply spending a quiet moment together, our campers experienced firsthand just how meaningful a relationship between humans and animals can be. 🌱🐐
And we have some pretty wonderful post-camp news to share: Marco and Valentino have been adopted! 🥹💛 They’re beginning a whole new chapter together in their new home, and we couldn’t be happier for them.
A huge todah rabah to our partners at Goatlandia for the extraordinary work you do and for trusting us to love and care for these two very special members of our community this summer.
At Eden, connecting to the earth means learning that we are part of something much bigger than ourselves — and that how we care for the animals, land, and living things around us matters.

Eden Village West is not a place, a program, or even a summer. It’s people. And this summer, it was you.
To our extraordinary Summer 2026 staff: thank you for bringing the magic of Jewish summer camp to life. Thank you for showing up with intention, leading with love, embracing the silly and the sacred, and helping us build a community rooted in connection — to ourselves, to one another, to Jewish tradition, and to the earth.
Because of you, young people had the space to unplug, explore, create, get their hands dirty, ask big questions, discover new passions, and become a little more of their authentic selves.
You were mentors, role models, teachers, farmers, artists, musicians, adventurers, caretakers, cheerleaders, friends, and so much more. In a thousand big and small ways, you showed our campers what it can look like to build a more connected, meaningful, spiritual, and loving world.
That’s the magic of Eden. ✨
We talk about building the world with love and all summer long, we watched you do exactly that.
Thank you for your energy. Your creativity. Your ruach. Your patience. Your weirdness. Your tenderness. Your hard work. Your willingness to jump in. And, most of all, thank you for being fully, authentically you.

Shabbat Shalom from our village to yours. 🌻✨
The Jewish High Holidays are just around the corner, and we can already feel the excitement building — the familiar melodies, gathering around tables, moments of reflection, celebration, sweetness, and the promise of a new year. 🍎🍯
But before all of that begins, we have one more simple Shabbat.
One more invitation to slow down. To unplug. To gather with people we love. To notice the world around us. To breathe deeply, eat something delicious, sing a little louder, and simply be.
At Eden Village West, some of our favorite camp magic lives in those moments — when we step away from everything else and make space for connection to ourselves, our community, Jewish tradition, and the earth. 💚
So before we welcome the sweetness and possibility of the season ahead, may this Shabbat bring a little rest, joy, and connection.

Still dreaming about Summer 2026 ☀️🌻🌲
We’re already missing the long, warm days under the Sonoma County sun — singing together, getting our hands in the earth, sharing meals, making art, caring for our animals, celebrating Shabbat, laughing until our stomachs hurt, and simply getting to be unplugged and together.
There’s something pretty magical about what happens when we step away from our screens and into a community rooted in connection — connection to ourselves, to one another, to Jewish tradition, and to the earth. 💚
To every camper, family, staff member, and friend who made up our loving village this summer: thank you for being us! Your joy, silliness, creativity, kindness, curiosity, and care made Summer 2026 what it was.
We’re so grateful for the summer that was, and even more grateful that Eden Village West doesn’t end when everyone heads home. We can’t wait to stay connected throughout the year and keep nurturing this beautiful community we’ve built together.
Until we’re back together in summer… we’ll be carrying a little bit of camp with us. 🌻
