This week, our student celebrated PAJAMA DAY!

Our little artists had a gourd-geous time celebrating National Pumpkin Day! The children let their creativity shine as they decorated their very own pumpkins, exploring colors, expressing their imaginations, and creating one-of-a-kind masterpieces! Each pumpkin was a unique and special as the little hands that decorated it! 🎃

As the holiday season approaches, may families draw closer to God and one another. The Salvation Army encourages families to follow Christ together, strengthen one another, serve others, and trust God with everything the future holds. ❤️

Today our teachers and early learners are wearing Autumn colors! We see a lot of brown, orange, and red like the colors of the changing leaves! 🍂🍁

Last week, our early learners had a very special visitor! Auerfarm’s Feather and Fur program came to The Right Place and brought along an adorable rabbit named Picasso for the children to meet and observe up close.

The children also explored feathers from different bird species and learned about animal body coverings, habitats, and the different ways animals live. It was wonderful to see their excitement, curiosity, and all the great questions they had during this hands-on learning experience!

Thank you to Auerfarm for bringing the farm to our preschool and creating such a fun and memorable experience for our early learners!

Family Camp 2026 brought us a meaningful time of worship, fellowship, and carnival games! Members of corps all across CT and RI were invited to Camp CONNRI to celebrate the love and joy of togetherness with their families. The children played carnival games, collected tickets, and traded them in for lots of prizes!

Check out the photo album on the Camp CONNRI page!

The Library on Wheels from the Hartford Public Library stopped by TRP today! The preschoolers that are headed off to kindergarten and the school age camp children all had a chance to learn more about the library and how it works in the community. We learned that it holds 700 books!! Everyone walked away with a free book and a greater love for literacy! Thank you to the LOW for visiting the school today! 📚
