A little flower love for the start of the school year 🌸💐

Back in August, we hosted a Bloom Bar for teachers returning to Mountain View Elementary! Teachers got to pick their favorite blooms and make a bouquet to take home.

Feeling especially grateful this week for the teachers and staff who show up for our kids every day. 🥹

Wishing all of our local schools a safe and happy year ahead!

Back in June, these homegrown blooms went to a local summer school group for a little flower study + arranging. And the thank-you cards we got back were just too good. 🤣🤣🤣

Laura’s gardens are overflowing! 🌸 We’ve been offering DIY flower buckets as a volunteer opportunity this summer, and our latest bucket was repurposed into bouquets and delivered to the staff at Redeemer Classical School! 💐

We’ll keep offering these buckets as long as the flowers keep blooming - hopefully right up until frost! Want to help us spread the joy? Sign up to volunteer on our website! 🌼

A surprise wedding flower donation + an awesome volunteer who said YES! 💐💕 Thanks to Emily, these beautiful blooms got a second life bringing some joy to staff at Turner Ashby High School and Valley Engineering. We love seeing flowers keep on giving! 🌸

Wanted! We are needing a ribbon refill at our shop of all colors and kinds of ribbon, preferably small ribbon that fits through a hole-punch sized hole. Send us a message and we will coordinate a pick up!

A benefit of donating to Friendly City Florals? One less thing to pack away at the end of the night! Our team will come with buckets and bins to carry away all of your florals. Have rented vessels? No problem! We work with local florists to return vases and other floral items.
