Wish Wheels is rolling again TODAY! 🛒

We’re bringing our MOBILE SHOPPING EXPERIENCE to another nursing facility today!
What is it? It’s where seniors get to shop, choose what they like and take it “home” with them.

We would LOVE our community’s help keeping Wish Wheels stocked all year long.
See something in this cart you’d like to donate? Please give us a call! New clothing, good socks, personal care items, snacks, books, small purses and everyday little things are all BIG things to our seniors.
See clearance Ts for $1, grab some for us. See bins of seriously marked down clothes grandma would rock? Get it for them.
You donate it. We roll it in. They get to shop.

We have a $5 challenge for you.
Not $50.
Not $100.
Five bucks.

National Senior Citizens Day is August 21.
National Banana Split Day is August 25.

So Leslie Hinson came up with an idea that was just too good not to try:

SPLIT A WISH. 🍌🍨❤️

We want to see if we can turn a whole lot of $5 donations into $1,000 worth of wishes for nursing home seniors.

Because here’s the thing about the wishes we get…
They’re usually NOT big.

A favorite snack like real Ritz crackers.
A bottle of gold bond powder.
A new pocket t shirt in Razorback red.
Cat food for someone’s little friend.
A take-out meal they’ve been craving for months.
A roll with honey butter from Colton’s.

Things that seem small to us can mean an awful lot when you live in a nursing home.

So here’s the challenge:

🍨 $5 = Small Wish
🍨🍨 $10 = Bigger Wish
🍨🍨🍨 $20 = Supreme Wish

But we really want to see what happens if a bunch of us just choose $5.

If 200 people give $5, we hit $1,000.
That’s it.

It’s National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day, and we’re turning lemonade into smiles.

From 1:00-3:00 PM, stop by Three Wishes for Ruby’s Residents for a cold glass of lemonade.

Every $5 helps us grant wishes for local nursing home residents, assisted living, senior retirement facilities and long-term housing.

Even better…

For every lemonade purchased, we’ll deliver a chocolate chip cookie to a local nursing home resident with a handwritten note that says:

“Someone in our community wanted you to know you’re remembered today.”

We’ll take the kindness from there by delivering a “you are not forgotten” message with a bag of chocolate chip cookies!
