Don't forget the Annual Cleanup at Hill Top Cemetery on Saturday the 11th at 9:am. Bring your gloves, rakes, saws and water to help get the cemetery ready for mowing season. Also bring a covered dish for pot luck after we finish.

Remember the cemetery is supported entirely by donations. Should you want to make a donation send it to: Hill Top Cemetery. Shirley Kilburn 8066 Orchard Point Rd. Harrison, AR 72601. Please include an email address for a receipt and future announcements.

Don’t forget our Chili Cook-off Saturday night the 6th, beginning at 5 pm at the community building. It should be a perfect night to eat some chili and catch up with your neighbors. If you want to compete, bring your best chili dish, or just bring your favorite chili side and help us pick the winner. Votes are cast by $’s toward your favorite dish with the winner receiving the most $’s. There will be several silent auction items, including some nice hand crafted items suitable for Christmas gift giving. Come out and enjoy this great community event.

We want to thank everyone who came out to our Annual Quilt Auction on Saturday night. Thanks to everyone who bid, everyone who volunteered their time and everyone who donated items for the auction. A special thanks goes to Roy Lynn Sisco who donated and cooked the delicious pulled pork and to Wayne Cone who has been our auctioneer for many years. It was a very successful night bringing in over $10,000 for our Volunteer Fire Department.

Our next community event is the 3rd Annual Chili Cookoff to be held on Saturday December 6th at 5:00 pm. Watch this page for more information coming soon.

The annual Hill Top Volunteer Fire Department Quilt Auction will be held November 1, 2025 beginning at 5:00 pm with a potluck dinner, followed by the auction at 7:00 pm. The Ladies Auxiliary have hand quilted several beautiful quilts to offer this year, as well as several more machine quilted ones. These, along with many other items donated by area supporters will be available for sale. Pictures of several quilts are attached with others to follow, so check back often.

Only 2 weeks left until the Hill Top Annual Quilt Auction. Saturday November 2, 2024 with potluck dinner at 5:00 pm and the auction at 7:00 pm. The Fire Department Ladies Auxillary works all year long to hand quilt beautiful quilts for the auction. These, along with many other items donated by local supporters will be available for the auction. We will be posting pictures here during the next two weeks.
