When the plans get printed on the big paper, you know things are getting real! We’re finishing up a few other projects and then we can finally focus on the play gym buildout. It’s been a long time coming, and we’re so happy to finally get this part going! 😊

We are SO incredibly grateful to Brittany Petitjean and Justin Cutler for their generous $10,000 donation to Made to Play! ❤️ This is HUGE for us and will make such a difference in getting our space built and ready for our community.

I just have to share that when these incredible people handed me this check, I got in my car afterward literally shaking because I couldn’t believe it. And I also couldn’t believe I was unprepared and forgot to bring our big check for the picture 😂

Sometimes you get so caught up in everything that still needs to be done and wonder how you’re going to make it all happen. Then Brittany and Justin come along with a gift like this and it’s hard to put into words what that means. Thank you both for believing in our vision and helping bring this dream to life for the families of Harrison. We truly cannot thank you enough! ❤️

We just want to say a huge THANK YOU to the Harrison High School FBLA students who helped us out last week! They spent two days making 234 keychains for Made to Play and we’re extremely grateful for the time and effort they put into helping us.

You’ll get to see some of their hard work this Saturday, October 3rd, at Harvest Homecoming! 🎃We’ll have the keychains at our booth, along with our make-your-own keychain activity!

HHS FBLA, thank you so much for helping us make these! We appreciate you all ❤️

Come make a keychain with us at Harvest Homecoming on October 3rd from 9am–4pm! 🧡

We’ll have a pre-beaded strand that says “Made to Play,” and kids can create their own second strand for free to take home! We’ll also have fun charms and add-ons available for $1 each or 5 for $3 as a little fundraiser for Made to Play.

We’re also excited to kick off our 100 Founding Families initiative! For a $100 donation, your family name will be permanently displayed inside Made to Play as one of the families who helped make this dream possible 😊

A small bounce house will be set up for the kids too. We’re looking for a handful of volunteers to help throughout the day, so if you’d like to lend a hand, send us a message! Can’t wait to see you all there! 🧡

A little update on our Made to Play materials list! 💙 Below is what we’ve been able to get donated so far by some amazing companies who have chosen to support what we’re building. We’ve also had verbal commitments from a few other companies and we’re so excited and grateful for their support!

We are still looking for donations for any of the remaining materials on our list so our contractors can get going on the buildout. If you’re a business, contractor, supplier, or someone who may be able to help with any of these materials, please reach out to us. Every item donated helps us get closer to opening!

Thank you to everyone who has donated, shared our list, reached out, or simply cheered us on. We couldn’t do this without all of you!😊
